Smith is a pretty village, close to the beautiful sailing waters of the

The Gardeners Cottage
- an alternative accommodation to the
main house
The house is comfortable in the slightly faded manner of any home inhabited by many generations of the same family: portraits, objects d'art and collections of oddities are all there to be enjoyed. Large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms have wonderful views and every comfort. Breakfast is a meal to be reckoned with a choice of all traditional English fare, with ad lib toast, tea and coffee. Every effort is made to ensure that you feel an honoured guest at Carwinion and the whole experience is a million miles from the impersonal atmosphere of staying at a hotel.
