The Ferry Boat Inn dates back certainly 300 years,
perhaps even longer.

The Inn is situated on the North bank of the Helford River,
and provides something for everyone. It is a sailor's paradise
and has a very safe beach directly in front of the Inn.

The Ferry Boat provides a selection of Cornish Ales, brewed
locally by St Austell Brewery. We also have available a
good selection of wines.

Food is served daily, with a varied menu, daytime and evenings.

A selection of homemade Specials are on offer using local fish,
meat and other produce.

During the summer months, we have an outside barbeque.

Open 7 days a week for drinks and hot or cold food.

In front of the inn is a spacious terrace, the perfect place to watch
the activity on the river during long summer afternoons, although,
if the weather is cool, the main bar also overlooks the Helford.

Inside, this marvellous old building is full of character and charm
with ship's lanterns, bells and ropes and even an old mast giving
the place a very nautical theme. The design of the interior of this historic old inn is also one of The Ferry Boat Inn's special features
and is worth a visit on its own.
